Peacemaking begins by nurturing our youth to build bridges that create larger cultural change.
Our work in the United States models what we’re striving for in the Middle East. We cultivate interfaith leaders and ready them to unite in altruistic service.
The Next Generation of Interfaith Leaders
In 2018, reGeneration cofounded Abrahamic Faith Student Leadership Team to build community amongst Los Angeles area Jewish, Christian, and Muslim middle school students.
Unfolding over the course of a school year, these middle schoolers create a new narrative of goodwill based on shared values that embrace common humanity. The team also cultivates accountability to themselves, their interfaith teammates and the world through a joint service project.
Healing Locally to Mend Globally
In interfaith coalitions, each voice needs to be heard. reGeneration’s Interfaith Council workshop builds U.S. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim bonds with the same conflict resolution techniques used by Israeli Jews and Palestinians.
Our Way of Council workshops explore heartfelt expression and attentive listening – gateways for deeper communication, intercultural understanding and the nonviolent resolution of conflict.
Drawing upon new wisdom in decision making and healing, interfaith coalitions can then work across differences to achieve goals rooted in service.
