Teachers are the only consistent, scalable intervention that reaches every child, every day.

When children are living under chronic stress, teachers are usually the first to see learning break down — in a child who won’t make eye contact, can’t sit still, or shuts down at the first sign of difficulty. Yet teachers are rarely given tools that reflect the developmental realities of toxic stress. They’re expected to meet academic benchmarks without any guidance on how stress actually impacts a child’s ability to learn.
Restoring confidence, not adding a new burden
reGeneration Education closes that gap by working directly with teachers — not around them. We:
- Restore teacher confidence and professional judgment
- Integrate trauma-informed practice into everyday classroom routines
- Reduce burnout by replacing guesswork with clear developmental guidance
We give teachers a deep, practical understanding of how a child learns and how to reactivate learning while mitigating stress — tools they can use in the classroom every day, not a separate program layered on top of an already full plate. Training is delivered in a focused four-day format, making it practical to scale across a school, a district, or a national system without pulling teachers out of their classrooms for months at a time.

Why the classroom, and not a clinic
Therapeutic interventions cannot scale to reach entire populations of children. Teachers can. Equipping teachers instead of adding parallel interventions means the whole classroom and school system changes at once. The impact holds up over time because it lives inside routines teachers already run, every day, without outside staff to fund or coordinate.
Teachers become agents for healing and stability while fulfilling the role they’re already trained for, becoming a positive force of change in a child’s life, their family, and their community. Essence of Learning is now in more than 350 kindergartens across Kosovo, and the UN Humanitarian Education Accelerator recognizes it as a preferred emergency education method. In the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, it was the framework Israeli teachers turned to for supporting toxic-stress-affected children back in the classroom.
